My Story
From the moment I first sat behind a drum kit at 15, I knew I had found my true passion. Despite my background in piano and saxophone, it was the drums that truly captured my heart and changed the trajectory of my life. The infectious feeling of groove became an addiction I couldn't resist.
My musical journey led me to study classical drums in Osnabrück, Germany, honing my skills and expanding my rhythmic horizons. In 2019, I made a pivotal move to Lübeck, where I not only found my future bandmates for Space Melons but also discovered a new passion for mixing and production.
As the drummer and mixing engineer for Space Melons, I've had the privilege of shaping our sound from behind the kit and the mixing desk. Every release has been a labor of love, with my fingerprints on both the performance and production aspects.
The same year also saw the birth of Funky Times, a project I co-founded with my brother Jules and our talented friend Julia. When the world slowed down during the lockdown, our creativity accelerated. We produced our first single, "Sweet Disco Times," kickstarting a period of intense learning and growth in music production.
Since then, I've been the driving force behind the mixing and production of nearly all Funky Times tracks, helping to craft our unique sound that has garnered attention from funk legends like Candy Dulfer.
My journey has been one of constant evolution, from mastering the intricacies of drumming to navigating the complexities of modern music production. Now, I'm excited to offer my skills and experience to fellow musicians.
